Wendy Detrick Worsham creates vibrant acrylic paintings. Her subject matter often includes cows, trees, dogs, horses, llamas, birds, and sheep, and sometimes her sheep fly. Some of the artists she continually draws inspiration from are Giorgio de Chirico, Franz Marc, Vincent VanGogh, and Mackenzie Thorpe. According to Wendy, "My goal is to create art that makes people smile. If someone hangs one of my paintings in their home and smiles every time they pass by it then I feel that my art is making a positive impact on someone's life".
Wendy received her Bachelor of Fine Art with a focus on Graphic Design from Southampton College in New York.
Wendy was born in Massachusetts, then moved to Alabama, Pennsylvania, Utah, New York, and finally Georgia. She currently resides in Canton with her husband and two wonderful dogs.
